Frankie had a good day at school and was very excited to see me - he ran up and gave me a big hug. We went to Terra Toys and picked out presents for Kyan and looked at everything. Frankie got a Gertie Ball and some magnet balls and a magnet wand as well as three balloons. He showed some interest on some of the Playmobil sets (the house and ice cream shop), so those may be birthday possibilities. We went to Zinger and I picked out a nice candle for Devin and Frankie choose a starfish soap, an homage to their ocean studies.
From there, we headed to Dart Bowl and Frankie bowled two games. He watched all the other bowlers, completely enthralled as well. Man, that kids loves to bowl. He was also a lot more focused in that we weren't straining to get to the end of the second game. When we got to the last frame, he looked up a the scoreboard and said, "It's my last frame. I'll bowl two more times!"
We drove to Galaxy for dinner and Frankie had sweet potato fries and steamed vegetables and a couple bites of my fish wrap. The Farmer's Market was still going, so we walked over and Frankie played in the fountain with all the other kids for at least an hour. He insisted on going "naked", but I made him keep his underwear on. He also pulled down his underwear and peed on the fountain (all the Triangle parents gasped!). Frankie got a sno-cone (Jim Jim's) and we left around 8pm. He took an extra long shower and decorated the shower stall with his bath crayons. We practiced writing words on the walls like we always do. After that, we got his room ready for the painters, read some books and went to sleep (around 9:45pm).
